FAQ

Everything new players ask before their first session at Union.

FAQ for Beginners

Can I book a court if I am not a member?

Yes. Membership offers added value and club benefits, but non-members can also enjoy Union through court bookings, programming, and other club experiences.

Do I need four players to book a court?

Not necessarily. You are welcome to book with your own group, but if you do not already have four players, our Union Padel Concierge can help guide you toward the best option, whether that is lessons, clinics, beginner-friendly programming, or other ways to get on court and meet players at your level. To get in touch with the Concierge, reach out via WhatsApp at +1 262 324 0179 or email concierge@unionpadelclub.com.

Do I need my own racket?

No. You do not need to bring your own racket to get started. We offer rental rackets at the club, so you can come try padel before deciding to buy one.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable athletic clothes that you would normally use for tennis, pickleball, or the gym. We also recommend court shoes or athletic shoes with good grip and support.

Is padel beginner-friendly?

Yes. Padel is one of the easiest racquet sports to learn. Most people can start enjoying it right away, even if they have never played tennis or another racquet sport before.

Can I play if I have never played before?

Yes. Union is a great place to start. Whether you want to book a court with friends, take a lesson, or join a beginner-friendly clinic, we make it easy to get into the game.
